The Beatles Story - Home

All you'll need is love (and perhaps a ring)

23rd January, 2014

As you would expect from the band that famously sang All You Need Is Love, The Beatles wrote their share of love songs. In fact, The Beatles used the word ‘love’ in their music 613 times.

In honour of the day where the world celebrates love, Valentine’s Day (14th February), we are throwing open our doors after hours for lovers to propose to their beloved.

Couples who make the pilgrimage to the Albert Dock’s the Beatles Story on Valentine’s Day between 18:00 – 19:00 on 14th February will be offered an opportunity to secretly propose to their beloved in any one of the exhibition’s themed spaces - from the authentic replica of The Cavern Club to John Lennon’s Imagine White Room, complete with its iconic white grand piano.

Clare Ireland, General Manager of the Beatles Story says:

“We feel that by offering such a unique romantic setting for a marriage proposal, we can complement what will already be a perfect day.”

Each area of the Beatles Story transports people back in time in the lives of The Beatles and it is this immersive quality that will appeal to Beatles fans looking to make an unforgettable marriage proposal in a unique, tasteful and timeless fashion.

If you're interested in arranging the proposal, don't hesitate to email info@beatlesstory.com.
